Answer telephone inquiries and assist the public. Perform data entry of information pertaining to record checks, traffic citations, expungements and arrests. Process fingerprint cards. Maintain senior patrol schedule, time sheets and activity logs. Maintain mail and supplies. Process patrol and detective reports and accident reports. File reports, pick up and deliver mail, public bulletin and ticket dispositions. Prepare vouchers, spreadsheets and general office duties in absence of employees. Transcribe patrol and detective reports into computer, copy and distribute as necessary. Deliver patrol reports and other paperwork to patrol office each day and filing. Pick up, sort and distribute mail each morning. Sort outgoing mail and take to mail area by 3:00 each day. Type correspondence for department and personnel as required. Answer telephones, enter the Public Bulletin, ticket dispositions, enter KBI and FBI numbers into New World and add the transaction numbers to the KSAR. Perform record checks for probation officers, teletypes, Kansas Department of Corrections and other offices and maintain a log of each record check. Enter traffic citations in the computer and scan tickets and attach them to the case in the records management system. Check cases to see if they are in the computer and the data is accurate. Expungements, process fingerprint cards, and schedule senior patrol and maintain time sheets for each volunteer. Maintain supplies, clergy cards, commission cards, employee pictures, Stopped program, oaths of office, agency employee roster and microfilmed records. Assign incident numbers and put needed information in computer. Provide Notary for the agency. Complete report for RSVP on senior patrol volunteers. Administer assistance for walk-ins applying for conceal carry. Assist with protection From Abuse Orders, conceal carry applications and delinquent taxes.
