Clerical relief for clinics, breaks, lunches, vacations, etc., as needed. Assist with off-site or special clinics as needed. Answer telephones, route calls and take message. Sort outgoing mail and deliver to County mail center. Collect cash, make correct change and balance cash drawer. Responsible for all data entry of client services (Check-In/Check-Out process). Determination of legal documents at check-in (legal name changes, Foster care, Adoption Decree and Divorce Decree). Greet clients and provide excellent customer service. File, access Weblz and log immunization history, prepare necessary paperwork, data entry into patient management software. Responsible for scanning of documents. Schedule appointments appropriately (correct clinic and appointment slots). Responsible for obtaining Sliding Scale proofs for eligibility (check stubs, tax return, benefit letters, self-declaration). Verification of third party pay contracts and correct data entry for appropriate billing purposes. Make insurance verification calls for eligibility. Responsible for insurance/medical card verifications as needed. Maintain accurate medical records (electronic/paper form). Responsible for taking meeting minutes as needed. Responsible for delivery of incoming labs/records to appropriate departments for review process. Assist with the annual purge of records. Assist with special projects in various departments.
